Pranksters Cause Road Chaos With Giant Dinosaur

You know when you’re really drunk and on your walk home you spot a traffic cone and think it’ll be the most hilarious thing ever, like ever, to steal said traffic cone and put it on your head.

Then all your mates Instagram you in all your comedic glory, and you go to bed with dreams of headlining this year’s Fringe festival accompanying your kebab-induced indigestion.

Some guys on the Isle of Wight did that, but instead of stealing a traffic cone, they stole a pretty realistic looking replica of a triceratops. Oh, and instead of taking it from a road they plonked it smack bang in the middle of one…

The owner of the dino – which usually lives in garden of a fossil and gem shop – reckons it must have taken five hefty men to move Godshilla, as she’s fondly known. Upon spotting her, people shared the unexpected blockage on social media:

Her owner, Martin Simpson, added:

“It’s great people are talking about it, but I wouldn’t want to encourage anybody to cause a hazard for traffic.”

What a tri-riffic prank.
